Could Coronavirus Save the World?

Strange times are these! I have been in very quiet observation over the last few weeks, remaining curious and open to possibilities. In the face of what some are observing with panic, I wonder, can we find resilience? Can we see Coronavirus as an opportunity, a catalyst for change? Can we do better?

I facilitate a women’s circle in my home twice a month and it is a source of great joy for all who attend. From the moment a woman arrives on my doorstep, she lets go of the outside world, difficult relationships, challenging financial situations, familial struggles and the weight of her entire world. She can just BE herself and she is enveloped in the love, respect and adoration of her sweet sisters. We are truly a family.

In the throes of Coronavirus, I’ve had to make the decision of whether this sweet circle would still gather and as I meditated over the last few days and absorbed all of the information that has been steadily supplied, I realized that we could not gather together this week and perhaps in the month or months to come. We, as a whole are being called. It is time to tune in to ourselves individually on a collective scale.

This virus is part of the Divine Rising. Can you feel the way that we are remedying this challenge with a feminine panache? Our general sources of Leadership are calling for compassion and kindness. This is a time to lay our swords down and finally see that WE ARE ALL ONE! There are no differences between us. To those contemplating all the reasons why this is happening to us, I invite you to ask instead, “Why is this happening FOR US?”

Bring this closer to home and step into appreciation. Find gratitude for the small things. The first two areas of focus I’ve brought my own attention to are the following:

First off, remain present. This is not an easy feat for many at the best of times and especially in troublesome times but truly, the way to BE in this is to just be present.

Secondly, release any judgement. This is not a blame game. The Angel card that I pulled this morning in meditation was the Angel of Charity. Even if you have nothing tangible to give, words can be the kindest gift. Use them lovingly.

And now, for my Coach’s call to action . . .

This is a chance to transform. Change is scary at any time but imagine, if you can transform your life in the face of global challenge, what heroes of strength and victory we all shall be. This is a great time to get curious. How can we BE better?

1. Love HARD! Love makes the world go round! Not money, LOVE! Give it freely! Take 5 minutes of your day to pause and imagine sending great beams of white light and love to the entire Universe. Sending this healing light to all, including yourself. Trust and believe in whatever FAITH you practice and know that all is happening for us as the Divine has a plan we do not need to know the outcome of. We are safe always, in the loving arms of Spirit. If you feel frustration creeping up in you, pause, breathe and trust. Move through the frustration and come back to love and light.

2. Relationships – Could some of your relationships use some extra love? Well, this could be the time. If you are experiencing time off from your work or are working at home and you usually don’t, you have just received a huge gift of time. Think not what may be taken from you but recognize what is given now. I strongly suggest shutting off the electronics and connecting with your immediate family safely and in ways that maybe you haven’t in a long time. Break out the board games, pop some corn, take a walk, workout at home or how about cooking a nice meal together. This is a great time to polish up on the relationship you have with yourself as well. Gift yourself something nice for the time of the day you might normally be commuting; this is your time to implement better self- care . . . yoga for 10 minutes or 40 depending on how much time you usually spend on the road. Or maybe you could use some extra sleep, a hot bath or a good book. Find the ways to be kind to yourself and those around you.

3. Work – As this may be a time when your work life is looking very different, perhaps this is a time to consider the change that you thought you could never make for yourself. Is it time to look at an online course that will help strengthen your skills or open up other opportunities? As mentioned earlier, this is a time to look inward. What do you want for your work life?

4. Money – While money is important. I ask you at this time, to again, consider presence. Hold space in your heart that you will always have what you need and then let it go. Please do not escalate stress and worry over money at this time. We are all in the same boat and conditions are being met with an open mind it seems. Employers are paying employees in some places, the government is taking measures to protect those who are hit hardest by this economic challenge.

5. That which is Greater than US! If you don’t have faith in anything at this point. It is time to consider that you are not here to do this alone. Have faith in your brothers and sisters. Withhold judgement and trust that we are all doing our best no matter what it looks like on the outside and trust that what is meant to be will be. Love yourself, love others, and pray! Our sweet planet, Mother Earth has been crying out for this break.

Coronavirus, please save the world.
